Built: 1971 at E. Menzer Schiffswerft, Hamburg. Build no: 450. Completely rebuilt 1993-98 at Buschmann & Sons Hamburg, Germany.
Material: Steel with new aluminium superstructure. Much stainless steel.

Main engine: 2 x MTU 8V396TC62, 850 bhp each. New 1983, overhauled before installation with few running hours since. Reintjes reduction gearbox WAL 571, 2:1 reduction, Schaffran 3-blade adjustable pitch propeller with extra blades.
Aux. Engine: 1 x MWM 2 cyl. 45 Hp diesel for compressor and pumps. Fisher-Panda generator in soundproof box with Kubota 4 cyl. Diesel 12 kVA 380/220 Volt, 600 hours.
Cruising speed: 13-14 knots on 90 litres per hour, top speed over 20 knots.
Bunkers: Diesel – 7,880 litres.
Fresh water –2,500 litres
Sewage – 500 + 400 litres.

General arrangement: Large wheelhouse with seating for skipper, navigator and radio operator. In the fore is a dining table with seating for about 10 people, large double berth in fore, WC with washer/dryer. Full galley with microwave, hot-air oven, stove, fridge/freezer, dish-washer and all essential kitchen utensils. In the aft section is a bathroom with bathtub and WC, Master bedroom with double bed and spare berth, wardrobe and refrigerator. Large store in steering-gear room with freezer, paint stores and plenty of spare parts. Aft deck has a glassed-in deck saloon with ice-maker, microwave, espresso maker and sink, above saloon is a large sun deck. Very well equipped and spacious engine room with pleny of special tools and equipment. Rebuilt and designed as charter/research/training vessel for Madeiran owners. Rebuild said to cost more than 2.000.000 Euro. Last dry-dock in August 2008.
