Material: Steel, superstructure in steel and wood.

Main engine: Bolinder W40M21, two-cylinder hot bulb engine, 150 Hp,
installed 1952 at Djurgårdsvarvet Shipyard. Bergs propeller type 4800, 1500mm stainless, Conax clutch.
Bunkers: Diesel – 2 x 2,2 M3 and 300 litres in day tank.
Classification: Swedish Maritime Administration.
Navigation equipment: Sailor RT144C VHF, Lyth magnetic compass.
Deck equipment: 75 kilos anchor with 40 meters of chain. Towing hook, Viking SOLAS B, 6-person life raft.
Engine room equipment: Spacious engine room with workbenches, Skoglund & Ohlson heating furnace, Nordic Power GP-24-
1000 inverter, 200 + 110 litre starter air tanks. Handheld CO2 fire extinguisher in engine room.
General arrangement: Small pantry with propane stove and refrigerator. Fore saloon with a V-sofa and table, one berth, and a writing desk. In the aft peak there are two berths. Fore peak today used as rope stores, but could be turned into a WC or made into a cabin with two additional berths.
History: Fritz was originally built for a Göteborg towing company. In 1939 she was called in to serve in the Swedish navy during
world war II. After the war she was sold in 1950 to AB Karta&Oaxen. The current hot bulb engine replaced the original steam
engine in 1952. In 1964
she was sold to Ölands Cement AB and was renamed INSULA. 1982 she was sold to a private individual in Stockholm and
renamed OAXEN V. In 1994 the boat was purchased by current owner and was renamed to its original name Fritz, The owner
has continuously worked on restoring the vessel into a functioning tug with original appearance.
