Built: 1958, Åsiverken, Åmål, Sweden. Completely rebuilt and modernized 1991 in Turku, Finland.
Length: 33.00 meters (Lpp: 29.32 m).

Draft: 3.2 – 4.0 meters (moulded depth: 4.10 m).
Tonnage: 270 GT / 81 NT.
Displacement: 563 tons (light ship: 372 tons).

Main engine: Caterpillar 3606 MCR, 1,680 kW/1,000 rpm. Engine was initally set to a lower power of 1,177 kW. This was later increased to 1481 and the current 1,680 kW. Maximum engine power rating is 2030 kW according to manufacturer. Caterpillar 2.69:1 reduction gearbox. Tampella CP/2100/800 four-bladed, variable pitch, ice propeller with 2.10 m diameter. Main engine has under 44,000 running hours since new and was fully overhauled in 1999.
Engine room equipment: Alfa Laval MIB 303S-15 separator, 2 x Atlas Copco LT730 starter air compressors, Jämä 1060k 6.3 kW oil burning furnace for central heating.

Aux. engine: 1 x Caterpillar 3304 B with 85 kVA generator, 1 x Volvo 120AK with 165 kVA VEM S250L4 generator (120 running hours).
Bow thruster: Ulstein 45 TV hydraulic bow thruster powered by a ca 350 bHp Caterpillar.
Bunkers: Diesel – 90.4 m3.
Fresh water – 10.0 m3.
Ballast – 30.0 m3.

Schat FME 194LG life boat davits with outboarder motorised RIB boat. Anchor winch with 230 meters 31 mm chain and twin 1,250 kg anchors. Twin electric 4”, 4,000 lit/min bilge pumps for salvage work. 1 x 10 person + 1 x 8 person Viking life rafts.

General arrangement: Aft of bridge is a large captain’s cabin with dayroom and office. Main deck contains the messroom and saloon for about eight seated, refrigerator and freezer room, sauna with shower, laundry room and two WC’s. Below deck are six single cabins, gym and store room.

Classification: Finnish flag. Lloyd’s Register classification +100 A1 Tug, Baltic Service, North Sea and English Channel service, Ice Class 1 C FS at 3.6 m draught. Next SS due 29/5-2011.
GMDSS area A1 + A2. Five crew in Baltic Sea trade, three crew in harbour trade. Latest hull survey showed between 12-25 mm and very little diminution. The entire vessel is in very good condition and should be seen.
